Providing a safe space for neglected, abused, and forgotten animals to thrive and grow as they get ready for their forever homes.

What does it mean to be a foster?

CAPP is a foster-based animal rescue, meaning that the animals with foster homes are given a second chance to live their best lives.

A foster gives love to the animal they decide to take in. For many animals, this is the most love they have ever been shown.

Fostering allows a safe space for animals to learn how to interact with other animals, people, and a variety of situations, becoming better adjusted and more adoptable.

Are You Ready to Start Changing Lives?

Fosters prepare the dogs for their forever homes by potty training, crate training, socializing, and working on basic manners. If you decide to become a foster, you are also deciding to take on the responsibility to care for the dog you take in.

Pound Pals is always looking for fosters to take dogs in from the pound. Fill out a foster application to get started!
